When is Airport Doggie Day Care open to the public?

7.15am to 6pm Weekdays (negotiable).  Closed to the public between 12.30 and 2.30 on Weekdays (negotiable). 

Weekends we are open to the public between 9am and 12pm and again between 3pm and 6pm (negotiable).

Important: Please ask us if you have a requirement outside of these hours as we may be able to assist.

What do I need to do if I want to use Airport Doggie Day Care for the first time?

Why do I need to bring my pet along for an orientation?

To check your pet is going to be happy in our environment and to get them used to being left behind while you go for a coffee nearby.

What time do I need to pick my pet up after overnight boarding?

Your pet needs to be picked up from overnight boarding on the day of departure by 12pm. Otherwise there is a $38.00 charge

What time do I need to pick my pet up from day care?

We close at 6pm so any time before then is best. Otherwise overnight boarding charges may apply.

What time can I drop my pet off?

Anytime from 7.15am weekdays (negotiable) and from 9am on Weekends (negotiable)

What are your prices?
What other dogs will my pet be mixing with?

All pets sleep and eat in their own cage at night and during the day we group pets with others of similar age and size.

Do I need to bring bedding?

Only if you wish to. We do supply fresh clean bedding for all pets.

Do I need to bring pet food?

Only if you wish to. We do supply pet food for all dogs on overnight boarding.

Do all the dogs get fed?

We feed the overnight boarding dogs in the morning and in the evening.

Do I need to bring a dog lead?

Only if you wish to. It can be handy for getting your pet to and from your car when dropping off and picking up.

What happens to the things I leave with my pet when I drop my pet off?

We make a note of what’s been dropped off and we try to ensure they are returned. It will help if you mark your pet’s name on things you leave with us.

How do I make a booking?

As an existing customer you will be able to book directly on-line using this link  https://airportdoggiedaycare.propetware.com. You will be able to request a new password if required.  As a new customer Please use the “Bookings” tab or email us on bookings@airportpetcare.co.nz. You may also call us for bookings on 0224247949

How do I get my own personal online Login?

You can create your own Login through LOGIN. You can add numerous pets to that Login and can edit and add to it any time as long as you have an internet connection.

What can I do on my personal online Login?

You can make and manage bookings 24/7 and you can add all your pet’s information. Eg Vet info, Medicines, Vaccinations, Photos, Emergency Contacts etc.

Will anybody else be able to see my information on my personal online Login?

Only yourself and Airport Doggie Day Care will be able to see your information.

Is the information on my personal online Login secure?

The online booking system is SSL encrypted and is secure and your password is similarly secure.

What if I forget my password on my personal Login?

Use “Forgot your password” on the login screen to re-set it.

How do I pay?

We take EFTPOS or you can pay by cash or bank transfer. We don’t have credit card facilities.

Can I see what my pet is up to while they are at Airport Doggie Day Care?

We have 9 cameras around the facility and 2 TV monitors which are used for viewing cameras on, at reception. We also have a viewing window to watch through. As much as possible, we also do our best to capture pet photos. We add these to Facebook and Instagram. We do try to have all pets photographed, but our first priority is taking the best care of pets. Photos are an additional benefit, not guaranteed, but provided as often as we can.

Can I go inside where all the dogs are?

This is not a good idea and we don’t allow it. Work place health & safety and disruption amongst the dogs that it causes are the main reasons for that.
